Who is FlowCare?
FlowCare is a medical referral service in Phnom Penh. We help Cambodian families find treatment in Cambodia and abroad. We are not a hospital, and we give no treatment.
Finding treatment is hard to do alone.
After a serious illness, Cambodian families look for treatment. Some want it close to home. Others travel abroad.
Either way it is hard: which clinic, what it costs, and who to call. Going abroad adds flights, papers and a place to stay. Most of the information is spread across websites and Facebook pages, often in other languages.
FlowCare does that work with you, in Khmer. We ask the questions, we get the quote in writing, and we stay in touch before and after the treatment.
How we work, and how we are paid
More than 50 patients so far. This is how we work.
We tell you who pays us
The hospitals, clinics and care providers we refer patients to pay us a fee, in Cambodia and abroad. We work with one main partner abroad, and with others for the cases it does not suit. Before any introduction, we tell you who the provider is and that it pays us.
In Cambodia or abroad
The same people find the provider, get the quote and make the introduction, close to home or in another country. If you travel, we plan the trip with you. We check in afterwards.
Prices come from the clinic
We ask the provider for a written quote. We never guess a price, and we never put one on this site that a provider has not published.
We explain what has been studied
When we talk about a treatment, we say what has been studied and what has not. We keep research apart from patient stories.
We never promise a result
Cambodian law is strict about health advertising, and so are we. No cure claims, no before-and-after photos, and no medical opinions.
Khmer first, from a person
A Khmer speaker answers your messages. There is no chatbot. Everything we write for families in Khmer is written by a Khmer speaker.
